SPRING 2007 ITV ORIENTATIONS

Attendance at an Instructional Television orientation is not required; however, students are encouraged to attend so they can meet their instructor and ask
questions about the course. Orientation schedules and synonyms for ITV courses are given on pages 11-17.

COURSE BOOKLET

Students taking an ITV course must have a course booklet which contains the syllabus and other important information. The course booklet is available free of charge online, or may be purchased for a nominal fee from the campus bookstores.

VIDEO LESONS

Cable Broadcast. Video lessons for all ITV courses, except ENGL 1302, MUSI 1306, and PHIL 1304, are broadcast over most Tarrant County cable stations. It is the student’s responsibility to contact his/her cable company to confirm that TCC programming is available in their viewing area and to verify the cable channel assigned to TCC. TCC broadcasts its signal to these cable
companies; however, TC cannot guarantee the quality nor the continued operation and broadcast of any cable company. TCC does not transmit ITV classes via Direct TV, Dish TV, or any direct broadcast satellite.

Viewing Center

Video and audio tapes for all courses, except ENGL 1302 and MUSI 1306, are available for use in the on-campus viewing centers during their regular hours of operation.
Tape Lease. A VHS tape lease option is available for all courses except ENGL 1302 and MUSI 1306. MUSI 1306 is an audio only course.

Online Viewing

ENGL 2328 video programs are available free online by accessing the link on the instructor’s web page. High speed or DSL connections may be required.
DVD Purchase. DVD sets containing video programs for the following courses are now available for purchase in the campus bookstores.
